Labor Day with Friends and Family
As the Summer fads into the sunset, we had a beautiful, family bar-be-que at the wonderful Milbrook Club in Geeenwich, Ct. Daughter and Mom of five Caitlin, first child Kaylie and youngest child Ireland stayed home dealing with certain infirmities, but Dad Drew, grandson Shai, and grand daughters Aliana & Camille were so much fun to hang around with. Add the kids aunts, AKA my daughters Vanessa & Genevieve to the proceedings and we had a plenty of action, good conversation and great food.
I first joined The Milbrook Club in 1983, shortly after moving to Greenwich from NYC, thanks to the efforts of great friend Chip Broadhurst. We enjoyed it immensely for twenty-five years before passing the membership on to the next generation, embodied by Drew and Caitlin.
I’m happy to report that many of the same people still work there and the family spirit I experienced has been retained and even sweetened further. All added up to a nice way to kiss this summer off, and look forward to challenges and opportunities ahead.
Also to appreciate my beautiful family and all the joys they bring me!
